2. Choose a protection type

Two types of pressure-sensitive switches are available depending on the level of protection required.

Safety edge switch

4-wire systems enable wire-breaking detection unavailable in 2-wire systems.

All edge switches can be selected to be safety edge switches by using a doubled termination (4-wire system), allowing machine builders to adapt the level of protection as safety requirements evolve.

When combined with the HR6S-AK safety relay module, the Safety Edge Switch achieves EC type certification.

The HK series is selectable from 8 types which differ in structure and size, each available in various colors to fit your specific needs.

Length and coverage

Edge switches can be customized to match the size of the protected edge. This flexibility allows installation on small equipment as well as large industrial structures.

Flexible installation allows mounting on curved surfaces or compact equipment. This configuration is particularly suitable for AGV bumper systems and compact mechanical designs.
