Multiple Protocols – Support of four different PLC protocols simultaneously

  • Support multiple protocols—connects up to four PLC protocols simultaneously. Using one HMI to communicate with different brands (or manufacturers) of PLCs in a system saves time and money. The touchscreen acts as a communication gateway between multiple devices allowing data to easily pass between devices.
  • IDEC supports over 100 Serial and Networking drivers, including BACnet IP, Modbus RTU Master/Slave and Modbus TCP/IP Client and Server.

IIOT READY

  • FTP communication allows users to configure the HMI screen as a FTP Client or Server for transfer of programs and logged data between a Client and Server, providing a convenient and effective way to remotely communicate with the HMI.
  • Up to 16 Servers can be managed simultaneously, and access folders can also be managed.
  • This greatly simplifies a User program updates as it’s no longer necessary to have the IDEC programming software installed on multiple PCs throughout a facility or a company.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Web Server Function

    With this function, you can remotely control and monitor your IDEC HG2J at anytime, anywhere using a PC, PDA or smartphone. No additional software tools or modules are needed to use the Remote Monitor and Control function.

  • Email Function

    Dynamic PLC and HMI values can be incorporated into email to show status conditions. Files, such as Alarm Log, Data Log, Operation Log and Screenshot, can be attached in the email. Up to 255 email templates can be configured to multiple recipients.

Large Data Memory

The MicroSmart PLC has 1,024 timers, and six of the 512 counters are high-speed at rates up to 100kHz. These capabilities are combined with extensive data and bit memory, double the capacity of a typical micro PLC.
