The SX8R Series Bus Coupler Module provides a flexible and high-performance solution for remote I/O applications. It supports multiple communication protocols, making it easy to integrate with different control systems.

Users can select from more than 40 IDEC FC6A MicroSmart PLC I/O modules, supporting a wide range of digital and analog signals. The system can be expanded with up to 15 modules, providing up to 480 digital I/O points, 120 analog inputs, and 60 analog outputs. The maximum number of SX8R nodes depends on the host controller and communication protocol used.

A simple configuration tool stores all settings, reducing setup time and eliminating the need for repeated configuration. The SX8R Series is designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, with a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 65°C.

Easy configuration and monitoring with dedicated software

The dedicated PC configuration tool "SX8R Configurator" (free) is available for configuring communication and module settings. Drag and drop functionality allows easy configuration of I/O modules.
The ON/OFF status of digital I/O modules and the current values, set values, and error information of analog I/O modules can be monitored remotely.
